Vishing:

A form of social engineering attack where cybercriminals use voice communication, such as phone calls, to trick individuals into providing sensitive information like passwords or account numbers.

A visher might pretend to be a bank employee addressing a security issue or a tech support agent from a well-known company offering urgent help. These attackers often create a false sense of urgency to pressure victims into making quick decisions – only to realize the consequences long after the call ends.
